People replace a furnace to fix one cold bedroom and are surprised when the bedroom is still cold. A furnace makes heat. The ductwork decides where the heat goes. A bigger furnace pushed through the same undersized run buys you a slightly warmer bedroom and a noisier house.

The other commonly missed half is the return. Air has to get back to the furnace, and if a room has a supply vent but no path back out of it, the room pressurises and the air stops moving. That is why having a door open or shut changes how warm a room feels, and it is a fixable thing rather than something to live with.
