Airdrie gets a handful of weeks a year where you really want it, and those are exactly the weeks everybody else is calling too. Installs, repairs and seasonal service, done so it works the week you need it rather than the week after.
Everybody rings about air conditioning during the first hot week, which is the one week of the year when every company in the Calgary area is booked solid. If you already know your system is on its last legs, or you have been meaning to add cooling, the quiet time to sort it out is April and May.
Sizing matters more than most people expect. A unit that is too big cools the air quickly, shuts off, and never runs long enough to pull the humidity out, so the house ends up cold and clammy instead of comfortable. Bigger is not better here. Correct is better.
